Why You Need to Drink More Water

Adequate hydration is vital because your body is 60% water. Need for water consumption varies from person depending on age, level of activity, such as exercise, weight, health and environment (hot or cold). Be sure to stay hydrated after exercise, sweat excessively, if you have fever, vomiting or diarrhea. According to the Institute for Drugs recommended diet and nutrition meetings, women should drink at least 11 glasses of water a day, and men about 15 cups. However, it is always advisable to drink at least 8 glasses of water daily. So drink! Not drinking enough water to meet the needs of their body can lead to dehydration.

Reasons for drinking water

The main reasons why they need to drink more water because it allows your body:

• Maintain normal body temperature
• Dispose of waste produced by the body movements of sweat, urine and feces.
• lubricate and cushion joints
• collecting food, helping to break down food, and in the transport and absorption of nutrients.

Water sources

The good news is that you should not drink water on others to meet their daily total liquid. Soup, tea, milk, juice, other liquids and all fruits and vegetables consumed daily all count towards your daily total fluid. However, note that other fluid sources such as juices, iced tea and soft drinks can be high in calories and sugar. That is why water is the best source of hydration. You can drink tap water or add fruit to it to make your own flavored water. I do not recommend the use of commercial promoter of water. Is very easy and healthy for you also make your own flavored water.

Drinking vegetable

You know that fruits and vegetables like cucumber, cauliflower, spinach, broccoli, watermelon, oranges, grapefruit, melons and all contain over 90% water? Including fruits and vegetables to your daily meal is a sure way to increase fluid intake. Vegetable juices have many health benefits. It is also a great source of fluid intake, so if your vegetable juices are not, however, get on board.
